Veterans Day 2009 was observed in The Park on Sunday, 8 November at 3pm.
It was a lovely program and a beautiful, clear fall afternoon.Our Keynote Speaker was Lt. Col. David Graetz, USA.
Lt. Col. Graetz is Chief Chaplain at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Louisville.
Two Veterans of the War on Terrorism, Staff Sgt. Gil D. Stubbs USMC and Sgt. Bryan Florence USA,
received the American Legion Gold Appreciation of Service Medal.
