500 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies found their way to our troops currently serving in Iraq, and other countries because Michael Cook of the G.I. Joe American Legion Post 244, and the Girl Scouts of Girl Scout Troop 1320 thought our troops deserved some Girl Scout Cookies too! So, they got the ball rolling with 400 boxes, and Girl Scout Troop 369 added about 100 more boxes to make it even. After the cookies were unloaded, members of the G.I. Joe Post recognized Jeffersontown's Mayor Clay Foreman for his support of Veterans. Then the party started! Click Here for a few more photos. |
