The program was wonderful, despite being moved indoors to the Jeffersontown Community Center. Things began with the Honorable Clay S. Foreman, Mayor of Jeffersontown. Sgt. Maj. Tom Crump gave the Korean War Commemorative Address. We were joined by B.Gen. Leslie E. Beavers, USA (Ret), Commissioner, Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs, as our Keynote Speaker. Also present was Mr. Charles Park, Sec. Gen., Federation of Korean Associations, USA, and a beautiful dancer from the Louisville Korean School. The Thoroughbred Chorus sounded great, the food was good, and we just let it rain! |
